2012...is it really possible?
Ok so here's a common question and possibly an annoying one I just watched 2012 last night and for me this is probably my biggest fear...the world just ending. Obviously though they made it a "happy" ending. But seriously what's the chances of this actually happening? I read an article about a possible asteroid hitting (not likely according to NASA but Russia thinks so). Will this generation see the end of the world?
The head of the Russian space program is a loon. Really, think about it. What have the Russians done in the last 20 years in space other than a taxi service? Nothing. So Ralph Kramden has too many vodkas and goes on TV spouting off about Apophis, about which he knows nothing. He might as well have just admitted he is Vladimir Putin's brother in law and left it at that.
2012 is just a year. Don't be taken in by the hoax. "2012" the movie was just a simple-minded retelling of Noah's Ark, without the good parts, like Unicorn chases and trying to tell the sex of a bag of fruitflies.

2012 and a comet/asterioid?
Now some say its a comet, some say its an asteroid? Some say the government/nasa is hiding this? true? Some say it would be visible by now, some say it doesn't need to be visible by now? I read one guy's blog that said that this comet/asteroid doesn't need to be visible until like 137 some days before it reaches if compared to the speed of haley's comet? He said if it had the speed of haley's comet then it would only be visible 137 days or so until we could see it? Would we know if something was happening soon? Some say that a certain spot in google sky is blocked out? is that true? What are all the explanations for these? What's be the truth? Could something just appear out of no where soon? truth or myth? explanations?
What about the movie too? if gov't was hiding it, they wouldnt allow the movie to be released right? and if they were hiding it, why would they tell us about apophis 2036 and not this one?
I think putting movies out is better cover than even labeling everyone conspiracy theorists.
