Yes, its a real movie.
Just like Independance Day, Day After Tomorrow, and every other movie. Movies are FICTION.
This one is no different than every other "end of the world" movie. Its based on fiction - in this case a totally inaccurate hoax started by some nutjobs in 2003 (apparenly, aliens told them about the world ending in 2003 through some brain implants).
Have you thought about perhaps doing some research? No point in being scared over nothing.

Is 2012 real (20 char)?
Some people say that 2012 isn't real, but I really don't think so. There's so much evidence that it will happen.
Every year from 1 all the way up to 2009 has happened without a single year being skipped, and if it continues like this, 2012 will come.

What is this talk of the end of the world? I don't know when it will end. All I am saying is that the year 2012 will come, just like all the years before it.
2012 is going to be so real, it'll take a year before it's over! In fact, it might even take an extra day longer than the three years before it like this one.
Anyone who says 2012 isn't going to happen may just be in chronological denial. I will add that it's probably not going to happen ever again after it's done. Next time someone tells you it ain't happening, you throw water in their face and kick their dumb dog!
