2012 signs of the apocalypse
Why are we so fascinated by our own distruction?
In light of "2012",and the fact that i was watching the History Channel's "Seven Signs of the Apocalypse",it just seems like we're all fascinated with our own destruction. And all the ways that it could happen (nuclear war,asteroid,even aliens). We even pay big bucks to see the movies like 2012. So why are we so into the end of mankind? Thanks. X Sarah

Firstly let me just start of by saying, don't believe everything you hear on television, ESPECIALLY the history channel. They have manipulated and twisted around so many historical events, citations and resources as if its warm metal.
Why mankind is fascinated with the end of the world...Its a good question. Think of it this way:
Life on earth is like a really long book. And the present is around the middle where you're starting to get bored with this novel. Wouldn't it be great if you could foreshadow your way to the end so that your own content is satisfied?

Is all the shows about the FUTURE on the HISTORY channel a sign?
I was watching Apocalypse Island on the History channel last night.
I started realizing that basically all of the shows they have been showing lately are about 2012.
how is something about 2012 on the History channel if it hasnt even made history yet.
Is this a sign?
Do you think the world is over in 2012 or that a new life will start?
Many people are obsessed with the end, end times, apocalypse. 2012 is just a date. Mayan prediction of time running out. Entering a new phase of time and space. A new world. Our times are drastically changing. For better or worse. Only time will tell. The History channel is not a mystical sign. Its fallowing suit to what is current and breeding fear and lies for ratings. You have to make up your own mind about these things. Go with your gut feeling. Feel free to research “Group Hysteria” while you’re at it. it’s a form of terrorism. To lead people in to believing in something and a bid by obedience with using fear against your strength of character. Do you get it? Apocalypse has always been about that.
Saw Bob Newhart on NCIS, which is ironic since that was one of my picks for "signs of the Apocalypse"…
