2012 survival bunker
I'm looking for other people who want to build a self suffcient survival home in anticipation of 2012?
Question Details:Either: a) a co-operative with land, bunkers (or may build a bunker) , food, agricultural tools, sustainable energy. Preferably located at least 900 metres above sea level in non volcanic region. Shared labour/preservation of technology/information
b) join a like minded group fo individuals who are interested in survival..

Don't get sucked into thinking that there is a time line to the disagreeable events of the future to plan your life around. Instead, put your energies into a positive direction now for positive goals. I have spent my life studying that which allows me to be self sufficient in all the many disciplines of science and technology, military, as well as philosophy and studies of life and living. Take the time to get a quality education and you will have all your answers. It is your education and life skills and experiences that you need. With that you will do well where ever life finds you. Do not fall into the traps that are the dates that come and go as they have for thousands of years. 2012? Any date! Don't be fooled with the rest. You need to base your life on what you know and who you are and do it with a positive light because a negative light is just... dark, and you can't see clearly in the dark, can you?

Vivos 2012 Underground Shelter
Is there any possible protection against solar flare radiation from a Planet X fly by?
Many are speculating on a catastrophic (possibly an "extinction level event") period of massive solar flares and magnetic pole reversal as "Planet X" passes through our solar system (projected to pass by in 2012).
In terms of survival options, is there anything we can do to be safe from radiation? How far underground, and what materials might protect against solar flare radiation from by a Planet X fly by?
Also, would mirrors or fiber-optic cables (as in skylights to an underground bunker) transmit radiation around corners?

Well, for starters I read about this in US News & World Report and Discovery News, not on some nutjob conspiracy theory web site. Excuse me for trying to keep an open mind. But thanks so much for all the sarcasm and rudeness.
Right now, the best way to protect yourself would be to put something reflective on your head to block incoming radiation.
The other problem will be the shift in the Earth's magnetic field due to the resulting pole shift. Follow these precautions in order to survive the coming onslaught:
1. Turn all of your batteries upside down. Anything running on batteries turn them upside down. This will "shift calibrate" all of your D.C. power sources. On Dec. 22, you will be able to put them rightside up and continue to use them.
2. remove the battery from your car and place it in an aluminum lined box. (tin foil will do). This will block all rays and will keep it from exploding. DO NOT TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN. Car batteries operate on a different priciple than your regular batteries. Simply puttling it in the box should be all the protection that is needed.
3. Wear highly reflective clothing. Paint a jumpsuit or pair of ordinary coveralls with chrome colored paint, and wear a hat covered with foil. This will protect your body from these rays. Also stand on your head in order to protect your brains electrical functions.
4. Shield your eyes. Paint an ordinary pair of plastic sunglasses with the same paint. Scratch slits on the lenses to allow you to see through them.
While many will mock these precautions, you and I will be the only ones left on Earth to laugh.
