4 Major 2012 Survival Tips
A looming date has gotten a lot of people all shook up. This pending date is December 21, 2012 and it is the end date of the Mayan's long form calendar. The Mayan civilization was the most advanced civilization near North American and found math, science, and astronomical data far beyond many modern civilizations at the time ever even considered. They have predicted an end of times looming in 2012 and for those that take matters like this seriously, a preparation will be necessary to avoid being swept up in the mad dash for supplies when the end comes. There are four major 2012 survival tips that you will need to heavily consider if you're planning on surviving through the looming calamity.
The first major step in regards to 2012 Survival Tips is to pay attention to any natural disaster that changes the world. Far beyond simple calamity, you need to make sure that you're noting large catastrophe that is associated with the Earth. This means earthquakes, droughts, floods, sickness, and fires. Not just locally, but globally and look to see the death tolls and how it shifts local economy, weather and more.
A second tip in regards to major 2012 survival tips is to save extra money. Many people say to invest in gold, and silver as well as other physical commodities and that's fine. However, if you're not keen on buying gold than save money, and keep it safe. This could mean a hidden stash in a safe, or buried underground, or simply in the bank. There's no real way to know if the banks will work, but if you don't trust having a large amount of cash in your home, consider banking it for a time then pulling it out a month before the end date. It is never a bad thing to save money, and disciplining yourself to save in the short term will help you over time.
The third tip in regards to major 2012 survival tips is to stock 1 – 2 months worth of water and non-perishable food. This is essential to any major disaster, but more so if the date sets off major events in your area that will have people buying up all the supplies. Store them in a safe place and make sure you have enough for you and your family.
Lastly, You'll want to also have a sleeping bag, and first aid kit readily available in your car just in case you're not home when the time comes. You'll need to stay warm and safe, a vehicle can provide a lot of great protection, in case you're not in the area. It might save your life if you need to travel as well so consider having a full tank of gas and your tiers properly inflated and the engine checked just in case.
Being prepared is important, regardless of whether or not the 2012 date truly impacts us globally. If you're skeptical, this means you'll be prepared for other disasters that might arrive, and if you're truly convinced that the end of days is looming and will take place, you'll be ready with these four steps. Taking care of your family is point #1 so make sure you follow these steps with them in mind, and don't wait for the last minute, because supplies could be scarce.

The second link is from youtube.com and there are other bits from the Survival Kit – some are pretty funny:)
And the last link is just about 2d real time drawing – pretty cool stuff, worth attention.

Oh, by the way… cool blog:) Great source of interesting clips. I liked those with John Lasseter.
I can't worry about something that may or may not happen in 4 years. I could drop dead tommorrow and not of enjoyed the day by worrying about something so far off in the future.
If the whole world really turns to s*** I am not sure I want to be around anyways.
