2012 end of the world conspiracy

What are you views on conspiracy theories?
do u find them interesting in the least?
stuff like the north american union.......amero.......the new world order..... the end of times (2012)?
I find them pretty mind boggling simply because there's no way to know if they are true or not.
Particularly Amero - that theory blew my mind

The Conspiracy behind 2012!!! The FACTS!!!
2012 Theories
"Between 1987 and 2012 the destructive impact of humanity peaks out so it can resurrect. The world's getting worse in order to get better."
~ Mark Borax
Since the beginning of time, people have had their own speculations about December 21 2012 theories. Lately, these theories have become more and more pronounced. Many people these days don't believe anything will happen, but many more do. 2012 theories seem to range anywhere from "the power will go out all across the world" to "Modern day Armageddon". How severe will the theories about 2012 get?
One of my personal favorite theories is the upcoming Armageddon. A meteor is supposed to hit the earth causing an explosion similar to Hiroshima, only all over the world. My question is this: Wouldn't NASA scientists, government scientists, or even regular astrologists be able to see this meteor long before it can hurt us? After all, everywhere around the world there is always people using telescopes and searching the skies.
Not according to James Sayer, here. His e-book tells you everything you could possibly want to know. What's going to happen? How will we survive it? What is the government hiding? What's so special about the date? All of these questions (and many more) can be answered by reading his e-book: 2012: The Official Countdown.
Now, I'm not saying I fully believe everything that's written about this 2012 theory, or that theory. But wouldn't it be better to have an idea of what's coming, so that you can start planning ahead of time? After all, if the power is going to go out for seventy-nine hours, twenty-one minutes, and three seconds... I want to buy flashlight batteries!
Or if a meteor is going to crash into the earth and kill everything above ground... I plan on finding myself a nice cave nearby and learning what to watch for. I'm not going to play house in a cave just in case, but personally, I would like to know what to watch for in the beginning so I can make my way to where I need to be in time. Can you imagine a modern-day woman playing house in an underground cave? I shudder to think of it. It would be so lonely and damp and dark... every woman's dream! (Not).
As for stocking up on staples - i.e. bottled water, canned goods, etc. - shouldn't everyone have those in their house anyways? You never know when a normal natural disaster is going to hit - look at Hurricane Katrina; or more recently, the earthquake in Haiti.
Now, there are many people out there that believe everything is a conspiracy. If you are one of those people... I'm happy for you! Because in this case, you just might be right. In 2012: The Official Countdown, Mr. Sayer discusses what the government may be hiding from us regular folks. Dating back to before Area 51 (of which I'm still not sure what to believe), the government has been hiding things from the rest of the "nobodies" world. If you are someone who believes that no president could ever tell a lie (thanks to George Washington and his cherry tree), then all I have to say is... go take a history class. Or do some research. Or even take a look at our last few presidents. The government lies to people! The only question is, are they lying to cover up a conspiracy? Some of you will say I'm nuts for not believing so; others will say I'm nuts if I do believe it. Either way, it doesn't really matter what I think is true. What do you believe?
Of all the 2012 theories out there (and there are many!), one thing is true. People like to be prepared for everything. Some will prepare less than others, based on what they think is going to happen. Others will prepare with the just in case in mind. How far will you go to prepare yourself and your family?
Mr. Sayer mentions struggling to breathe unpolluted air, or drink safe water. Most of us (at least on my part) have only thought about shelter, food, and bottled water. But what happens if the prophesy lasts longer than your backup plans do? You won't exactly be able to go out and buy more bottled water if you can't breathe the regular air. What good would it do anyone if you walked outside to get the water, and then keeled over dead because of toxins in the air? I really can't think of a single person that would benefit from that.
Now, people might think that undrinkable water, or air you can't breathe is going overboard. But think about this: How many of you can predict the future? That's what I thought; no one. How many of you can know exactly what will happen on December 21, 2012? What? No hands? Aw, that's too bad - I was hoping you could fill me in.
However ridiculous it might seem, a date two and a half years from now is supposed to be the end of the world - as we know it. Will it be the end of the world? Or will things be completely different... as long as we're alive? Or will nothing change, and it's the Y2K fiasco all over again?
Well, the Y2K thing was different. That was just people being afraid that their computers were too stupid to realize it was 2000, and not 0000. I actually sat in a hotel room and watched the ball drop on T.V. with my family that year, while we laughed about how maybe we'd go home to blown up houses or something.
2012 won't be blown up computers. Or even a massive virus that's spread throughout computers all over the world. Actually, from everything I've read, 2012 has nothing to do with computers at all. And that's why it's so much more dangerous.
James Sayer's e-book 2012: The Official Countdown answers any questions you might have, and then some. Look it over, read it, and determine your own beliefs from there. No one's asking you to believe a bunch of smack from some virtual stranger... But the stuff in this book has been expertly researched. The whole goal is to get you to derive your own opinion, and then prepare yourself and your family the best way you believe you can.
