Doomsday Engine (JDoom) Deimos Anomaly glitch?
Im encountering a strange glitch in Ultimate Doom episode:The Shores of Hell using the Doomsday Engine (JDoom). I simply cannot finish the first level Deimos Anomaly. The map plays fine but as soon as I hit the exit button the level will start over. Strange thing is I will still have the shotgun and plasma rifle you pick up, but I wont have the blue key card and all of the enemies respawn.
Its defiantly a problem with JDoom as I have no trouble finishing the level and going on to the next when playing in classic doom, zdoom, edge engine, etc.
So bascally my question is if anyone has encountered this themselves and/or knows how I can fix it? Thanks in advance.
I forgot to mention that I'm using Vista x64.
I'm using XP and I'm not getting such errors. Perhaps patching up your game would help?
Bacon be with you.

Doom 2 - Map 7 on doomsday
2012: Why do so many believe it is the end?
The mayan calenday ends on Dec 21, 2012, but why do people believe this is our doomsday. I can certainly see that over the last few years there has been inconsistent weather patterns, and increasing natural catastophes, which if the 2012 predictions are true, would be the beginning of what is to come. If we are in a "polar shift" like many say we are, which only happens 1 time every 26,000 years, how is that something NOT to worry about. As many of us should know, the mayans were very advanced in the study of astrology, have their predictions been misinterpreted, or is 2012 the real deal, its hard to believe it either way, but it does make sense that natural catastrophes would be a result of this polar shift, also its not wrong to say that its possible for an entire species to be wiped off the map by nature, becuase it has happened before.
Basically it is just lies. Some people might believe them, but some people will believe anything. Some people say they believe, but they are selling books, DVDs or getting traffic onto their web sites. In other words, making money.
Very few educated adults believe in this stuff, just as they don't believe in the Bermuda triangle or a lot of other things either. Remember this. Half the population of any country are below median intelligence. That explains a lot of things and is one reason that some people buy into this twaddle.
The Mayan calendar stuff is fake scholarship from people who do not actually know anything much about the Mayans compared to the real scholars. One of them is known for writing proven nonsense about the Great Pyramids of Egypt.
The Mayans had more than one calendar, one of 260 days, one of 365 days (less accurate than ours and less accurate than the one introduced by the Roman general Julius Caesar) and the "long count" which ends in 2012. The long count is just a count of days. Since there is argument over the start date, it is not known whether the long count ends on 21 or 23 December that year.
Like the Romans, the Mayans used an awkward counting system which made it difficult to express large numbers. So basically they ran out of steam when the numbers got too big. There was no prediction associated with this, except for the fact that they evidently thought things would go on with a new long count after that since a few Mayan dates after our 2012 have been found.
The stories about wandering planets / black holes / brown dwarf stars / Nibiru / planet X are also hogwash. Abject superstition from a deluded woman who believes she is in telepathic contact with space aliens and first said that this mythical body would damage the Earth in 2003. Oops, missed. No object of a planetary size is going to cross the Earth's orbit in 2012, at any point in the forseeable future or possibly ever.
The planets in the solar system will not "align" in 2012, far from it. Venus, the Earth and the Sun will be in a line in June 2012 but they are in a line on a regular basis twice every 120 years or so and nearly in a line every year. Look up "Transit of Venus".
Nobody knows if a galactic central plane even exists as the galaxy might not be "flat". Even if it does, we don't know where it is.
The precession of the poles of rotation will not stop, start or change direction in 2012, it will just continue as it has for billions of years. It takes 26,000 years (actually closer to 25,850 years) to go round once. This is a natural effect of the rotation of the Earth and is exactly similar to the slow circles the axis of any freely spinning object makes. Consider a child's top and look up "precession". Basic physics at first year college or end of secondary school level. There is no physical process known that will affect this much for the next billion years.
The magnetic poles, which are a more or less separate thing will continue to wander slightly. The magnetic poles are NOT at the north or south poles of rotation. They happen to be within a few hundred kilometres at present and have been for the past few thousand years, which is convenient for navigation. They will not flip.
Magnetic poles are the result of currents in the core of the planet which is still fluid. These current drift about slowly, influenced by the spin of the Earth and by ordinary fluid dynamics, except for a bigger and much slower scale than you'd find in a tub of water.
At present the magnetic fields are roughly aligned with the axis of rotation. This is not always true. They do change direction and at some point in thousands of years the magnetic north will be close to true south. In between there will be more than one set of magnetic north and south poles at different places on the Earth. This will take probably from a few hundred to a few thousand years to happen.
Geologists have used this for decades to get an approximate date of rocks. While the Earth has a magnetic field of any sort, the planet is protect from much solar and cosmic radiation.
Look up stuff on genuine astronomy, Mayan, geology and geography sites if you wish. You will find that almost everything said about 2012 is false.
There will be disasters in 2012, but there are disasters every year. The tsunami of a few years ago is in a geologically active region, not far from Krakatoa and even closer to Tambora which blew up in 1815, causing the "year without a summer" in 1816. See also "Mt. Toba" which is thought to have been the biggest volcanic eruption in the past 80,000 years and is really close to the site of the earthquake that set off the tsunami.
When the Yellowstone one goes off again it will wipe out much of the western portion of the USA, possibly as far east as the Mississippi, a fair bit of western Canada and even parts of north western Mexico unless it happens when winds are blowing strongly from the east to move shattered rock out to sea. Goodbye Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco.
Earthquakes are common in China. They kill a lot of people because of low building standards and the fact that a lot of the Chinese population lives on highly fertile but geologically unstable alluvial soils. An even bigger one than the recent one happened about 500 years ago and there are records of major earthquakes going back well over 1000 years.
I have done some reading in the occult. If some of the stories are true, a very few people like Edgar Cayce, Swedenborg and a few others had some remarkable abilities in "seeing" things at a distance. However they all fell flat when they tried to predict the future. Cayce predicted the submersion of most of California by this time. California is still above the waves.
Nobody has ever shown that Nostradamus for instance ever predicted anything. And Nostradamus hated astrologers!
