Creative emergency goldfish supplies? Please don't skip this one.?
2 days ago my goldfish died once I put it in her new tank...... I really really don't want this one to die... So I'm going to change the water 1/4 every week, give her the right amount of flake food... and keep a eye on her tank.
But I'm really stressing out because my friend keeps telling me that they're fish... and all fish die... I've had many pets die when I was younger... and I REALLY don't want that to happen again...
PLEASE READ THIS: So I need creative emergency goldfish supplies... I heard having a few peeled peas frozen could be used to save a life, ammonia chips... But anyone got any other ideas?

Well your friend is right, nothing lives forever. But you can take steps to help them live longer. I'd buy a smaller tank and cycle it, so that you can use that tank before you add in any new fish to the main tank so it will decrease the amount of exposure of disease and infections to the fish you already have. The smaller tank is what is called a hospital tank, so basically, if you leave it in there for a week before putting it with the other fish you should be able to see before this happens as to whether or not it is carrying any diseases. If it is, then you can cure it before adding it to your other fish and decreasing the amount of exposure your old fish have to diseases.
Aquarium salt is good to have on hand, it cures most diseases and should always be kept in your water, it won't harm your freshwater fish if you keep to a dose rate of one level tablespoon per 20L of water.
API's melafix and pimafix are good to have on hand, a you should have a Ick cure as well as that's the most common disease fish get (also called white spot). Any of these diseases should be caught and eliminated in your hospital tank. If you can't afford another tank then get all the treatments I've said, as well as carbon pallets, stress coat, stress zyme, and a multi cure that will cure bacterial, fungal and parasitic diseases so if you don't know what it is then the multi cure so do the trick.
Do water changes each week of 20%, and make sure you have a very good filter, like fluval, and the correct tank size. Goldfish in lots of more then 3 should be in a minimum tank size of 50 gallons, anything less will kill them as they won't have enough room to swim and breathe.

What is the difference to eating dog to eating chicken, pigs, cows etc.. these can be raised and domesticated and kept as pet also, they are same all animals with souls. The only difference is what you were raised up and used to, if you were raised in those countries eating dog meat would be the norm. Some cultures eat kangaroo, camel, alligator… i don't know why people have such double standards they are all animals if you choose to eat meat then don't be hypocritical by judging others for eating different types of meat.
