What do you think about 2012?
Sounds interesting. Supposedly the Mayan calendar ends on December 22, 2012 and that is supposed to be the end of the world or our civilization. I mean I wouldn't worry about it but it does seem interesting. Sometimes those spiritual types know things that we think they don't. Looking for input on what you think about it all or does anyone care.
It's not going to be the end of the world. It's not going to be apocalyptic disasters and comets hitting earth and such.
Most people agree that what MIGHT happen in 2012 is something like a revelation. Apocalypse, from teh greek Apocalypsis, means :lifting of the veil.
In other words, Apocalypse is a sort of uncovering....revelation.
Perhaps something will be revealed to us in 2012? Aliens will make conctact? We'll be shown that we're not alone in the universe? Or even crazier....the president will reeval himself as an alien and will enslave the whole of the human population.
Some say the oil left on Earth will disappear, altering our minds towards renewable energies and spending more money on other things other than oil companies.
Some even say that what is supposed to happen in 2012 will happen in 2007, because of some confusion with the gregorian calendar. In November.
You should really look into this subject if you're interested, it is quite entertaining and makes you think.
BUT Don'tforget, these are only thoughts that people have....not a single thing that you read is a premonition or a vision of the future. Do not take it SERIOUSLY.
But, c'mon! making mankind finally aware that they're not alone in the universe would surely be a good step towards our intellectual and spiritual evolution!
