The Nostradamus Effect?
I'm watching a show on history channel called The Nostradamus Effect. On How Web Bot supposedly predicts the end of the world in 2012 as well as the Mayan calendar. They are saying on the show (as I type) that It completed a search, and in 2001 an unexpected pattern emerged. Supposedly predicted 9/11. Katrina. 2008 stock market crash. collapse of housing market. According to the show, Web Bot saw it all coming. Some believe it sees countless casualties, death, illness and that December 2012 will be chaos.
I think the Web Bot/Mayan Calendar followers are just like the Y2K followers. A concept to make Web Bot popular, and other prophecies that cause fear in people. What do you think?

Any opinions about 2012?
I just got done watching something on the history channel about 2012 and i don't know what to believe. do you actually think somethings gonna happen like the end of the world like Nostradamus and all of these civilizations predicted? And are there people out there who are trying to prove that the 2012 theory is just a hoax?
the show talked about how all of the things happening in the world today like hurricanes, tsunamis, the u.s. economy downfall, and wars are a sign that the end is near
