nostradamus 2012 prediction

what was nostradamus's exact prediction for 2012?

i want to read exactly what he said. dont just say "the world will end" i want the exact line. and a source. no matter where i look i cant find it.
i personally dont belive anything is going to happen. but i guess we will see when it comes
i know about the mayans calender ending. but i was told that he predicted the end of the world in 2012. that was what made me less sceptic. if it was only the mayans calender that said it. well then i guess the calender ends in 2012. not the world

Eveyone is right that it wasn't Nostradameous about 2012.

But everyone seems to forget that when the Mayans made their calender, daylight savings time never existed and according to scientists we are about 5 years ahead of earth's origin, so 2012 was actually back in 2007. And not to mention the Mayan calender was based(after translation) on numbers 0 - 9. The calender was a recycling calender. The guy who made the calender had to die at some time or either said "F" it, I quit. The world ends here lol.

And if the Mayans were so great at predicting the end of the world, then why couldn't they predict the end of their civilization?

I liked your staement about their calender ending in 2012. But when sceptics said the world will end in 2012 according to the Mayan calender, perhaps the world meant the "new world". When America was discovered it was referred to as "the new world". Maybe the mayans were talking about America's downfall. It's getting closer and closer to another great depression and an even bigger world war. Sceptic? I say "F" and keep on keepin on.

2012 is based off of Nostradamus predictions alone.?

The "end of the world" 2012 prediction has thus far been based off of Nostradamus predictions alone, however some of Nostradamus's predictions have been (not wrong per-say) but not all parts of the predictions happened or were accurate. So are we really going to let this one mans "dream" be our belief (obviously not everyone thinks the world will end in 2012). Or do you think that we should realize that, people have been "PREDICTING" the end of the world for centuries, their predictions never held true, why should we go by his?
actually no, if you do the history you will find that we discovered Nostadamus's prediction well before the calander.
