Is Nostradamus' prophecies fake?
I am 13 and concerned about what hes predicted. Is what he said about everything that happened real? Are we all gonna die in 2012? Fill me in here. Thanks
As far as Nostradamus goes, whether is prophecies are fake or real is pretty much irrelevant, as they're almost incomprehensible and so useless for predicting anything. Assuming you accept that prophecy is possible, about the best you can do with his work is say after the fact, "Hey, that prophecy could have meant that event!"
They were written in verse form in old french (c 1550) using a lot of astrological and alchemical allegory, as well as anagrams with altered letters.
I've read a translation of all his prophecies and nowhere in it is anything that can be definitively assumed to state that the world will end in 2012.
