Im afraid of the world ending (2012) and wars and scary things. What do i do?
is it all true? do i have to worry about this stuff?
NO. Don't live your life in fear. People have been predicting the end of the world for for ages and no one has ever gotten it right. Even the Bible tells us that not even the Angels in Heaven will know the End of Days..so the way I look at it...if someone has predicted it, it must be wrong.

I dont think the earth will stop spinning on December 21, 2012.
Every 26,000 years the Earth's north and south poles shift because of our alignment in the exact centre of our galaxy this could cause tremendous natural disasters but I'm sure life will continue. The ancient Maya calculated that this date would mark the end of human consciousness as we know it, not the end of the world. By the way, they also correctly predicted the exact day the white man Hernan Cortes would arrive in Central America. Whats interesting is the last time this event happened 26 000 years ago our ancestor Cro Magnon man suddenly began creating great art in the caves of southern France, which to this day remains one of the most inexplicable and remarkable changes in human history.
The continued development of of nuclear weapons and their delivery systems is profoundly distressing and will eventually lead to global disaster, every major power has some widely publicized justification for its procurement and stockpiling of weapons of mass destruction and half of all scientists and high technologists on Earth are involved in military matters. If we survive, our time will be famous for two reasons: that at this dangerous moment of technological adolescence we managed to avoid self destruction and because this is the epoch in which we began our journey to the stars.The choice is stark and ironic, the same rocket boosters used to launch probes to the planets are poised to send nuclear warheads to the nations.
